I've got my reminder set.
Good morning NOSTR fam!
In some social circles we refer to today as Friday Eve. Haha. Make of that what you will. If this is you, Happy Friday Eve my fren.
Now down to the business of the day. One of you is being charged with zapping a dude when he not even awake. I don't know who or why. But I love it. I had a spontaneous lol, a real one this morning while getting ready.
So I'm going to start doing this. One of you every day will get a zap. It's not going to be much and it may not be while you're sleeping. But I'll try to make it so. It's a way to let you know someone on NOSTR has thought of you that day.
Someone different every night/morning.
The highlight of my day I think is that I am meeting with mini me today at one of my fave parks in Maryland. We haven't had some irl face time in a few months. I've told her to bring rain gear and walking shoes. We need to get some steps while we talk. I'm at a deficit for the week. It's always good to spend time with her.
Make it a kick @ss day fam. I'm off to get my morning 5k done with the pooch. Running a little late this am.

This morning's run was short (not quite a 5k). But we got the heart rate up for almost 25 minutes and incorporated some pretty steep inclines. Will be doing a part 2 later this evening to make up for the mileage defict for the day.

Hi doc. Would you recommend some reading material on the subject?
Thanks.
I forgot to include my alt account in the original note.

thank you callnote and #blessings to you as well my friend.
I am with you 100% . It can be disheartening and becoming spiritually toxic if you don't force a change.
I think it was either c o r e y OR s a y l o r that said paraphrasing "even if bitcoin fails, you can't "unknow" what you've learned". That fact simultaneously sucks and liberating if that makes any sense.
I had a pretty cool, comfortable set up for myself before bitcoin came along (about 3 years ago). But I've never been one for complacency (or mediocrity). Inertia is a real thing as you get older, so it's been sticky decision process. I had been considering this change since last September. Younger me, would have made the move in September.
Just moments ago I spoke to my dad about this. He is 85 years old and operates 2 homesteads (4 hours apart) in Haiti.
He made this same move at the age of 65. He is in great health, he doesn't get bitcoin but wakes up every day with purpose. He is proud because I am doing at the age of 50, what he didn't figure out until he was 60 and ultimately forcing his change at 65.
but yeah. nuff of that.
again thanks.
Good morning NOSTR Fam!
It looks like it's going to be an ideal spring day in the #keystonestate
Yesterday morning I tweeted the below message.
This morning I awoke and submitted my resignation.
While It's been a very emotional time it has been a completely rational decision process spanning several months.
I've been with this company for 16 years and when you are with a company that long, your colleagues and coworkers become friends and some even as close as family.
As a result of this decision I've forfeited a substantial sum in options (golden handcuff stuff) and I'm going to miss the frequent teams chats with...basically those same friends.
I will likely (but reluctantly) create a Facebook account to stay connected with these friends as that is the platform where I would be able to reach the most of them.
I don't have any work lined up yet. However, having been a student of the #daveramsey school of personal finance I have minimal debt. What little debt I am carrying is profitable at the moment. Given no black swan events in terms of health, I have about a 6-12 month runway before things get tight.
I'm writing this note as an outlet of sorts, because no one irl is aware of my passionate interests in NOSTR or the broader Bitcoin community.
I did consult with legal counsel before making the decision. And even he kept saying "crypto currency" which zinged me every time and I've had to correct him it's Bitcoin.
Well that my rant for the morning.
One last thing to add, I have an alt account that I will be using to learn and grow.
If you are an entrepreneur and building anything in the Bitcoin space. Please follow me so that I can reciprocate, follow you, learn from you and perhaps even be of help in some capacity.
I want to be excited every day about my next endeavor. Having turned 50 y/o a few weeks every minute needs to matter.
Much love to you all and to some extent this community (you all) have embolden me to make this decision.

You don't begin to appreciate the full weight of that idea until you get into the last third. But agreed!
But on the flip side my last dog only got 6 years. And my current maybe 10 yrs if I am lucky.
Make the most of every minute my friend.

I was thinking or hoping a significant place geographically. It needs some context.
Some of the English translations on foreign notes are so literal they are funny, in a cute kinda way. But close enough to get the message. I hope it stays that way.
How the #bedouinbiker rolls....
