Finishing in a few minutes/hours what would have taken hours and days not even 10 years ago (thinking MS frontpage or building site in html).

Tech is deflationary.

The rat race is a soul sucking system that doesn't end until everyone has opted out.

I've paraphrased, but pretty much what Jeff B 00 th has been preaching on his book tours.

Good afternoon NOSTR fam!

Sending all sorts of positive energy your way via this note.

We got an early start to the day. Logging 7k (on blacktop). So a little faster then usual.

I budgeted 4 hours of focus time with Lucky Dog today, but ended up doing 6 hours. Time flies when you're excited about what your doing.

We built 2 websites, migrated and updated a third.

We organized and edited 6 blog articles.

Tested a new non-kyc purchasing option (can never have to many options for stacking sats).

Played tech support on one of the nodes (working with the folks at start9). That is still in progress.

In all, a relatively productive morning.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

A clip of the scenery from this morning.

Good night my fellow Nostriches!

Thebody and mind are in need of recharge.

Here lies a #foxden πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

The pooch loves to sniff them out. But the rabies thing and all, we stay clear.

Sheeps like pretty pens & jail cells.

Add a fake window with a faux scenic mural, fake freedom landscape and they will flock to said jail cells with much enthusiasm.

Nostr screen time matters a little less bc I find that it's;

1/3 LAMO, breaking bread with community.

1/3 focused, introspective thought (ISTP love this stuff)

1/3 Learning some isht I did not know.

While I don't have Facebook or TicTok. I suspect that's not the case on those platforms.

As for the blue bird app, it's what you make of it. It was my news source for a long time (pre-twitter files).

What little trust there was is kinda dead to me.

More a reminder for myself then you. Thinking if I note it, less likely I'll forget it.

When making major life changes, make (big or small) steps every single day, with an eye on the goal, but never forget the journey is half the experience man.

That's where the great stories are made that I'll be sharing fireside with friends and family ten years from now.

I think I hosted my last meeting at the fiat factory today. Feeling an unexpected, odd kinda freedom.

I liken going through my #amethyst bookmarks at the end of a work day to watching my pops doing his daily (newspaper) crossword puzzles after work.

He was in the back porch (sometimes the basement) learning weird words, as my mom described it.

Me...just learning. Their may be some weird words. But usually not.

Different but parallel.

And today, I shut the work computer off at 2pm.

Because my new operating system allows for it.

Going to put on some some shabby gear and cut grass.

In a few more weeks they'll be no distinction in my life between a Monday or a Saturday.

Redefining work/play times in ways that inspire growth, foster excitement and allow for some occasional moments of boredom.

I used to think a healthy/balanced week should be 1/3 work, 1/3 play, 1/3 sleep/rest.

As I've gotten older, not sure work and play need to be itemized separately.

A framework of old and outdated standards perhaps.
