The backroom discussion:
Central banks tell apple to shut down this p2p payment solution or we'll shut your bank accounts down and suck our friends in DC on you.

We're halfway through the week, making today hump day for most of us.
We're on pace for a productive week so far. I've been dealing with some government websites (Local & Federal) and have noticed some possible trends.
1 - sites giving away stuff work well.
2 - sites to make payments are slow and clunky AF. Many requiring human contact to some degree in order to see a process all the way through.
This is the opposite for privately managed enterprises. Which is:
1 - refunds or reporting troubles = high friction and clunky processes.
2 - making payments or new sales = low friction.
Off to catch one of those sunrise runs this am.

Probably not down to the unit, but I'm sure they can localize it to some degree (a breaker, floor, etc.). It would be a bad business manager if they couldn't localize or detect the increased costs.
And there are some bad or absent minded business managers out there.
