Actually maybe I’ll just add a + sign that opens a modal where you could just pick any emoji from your keyboard.

add a “+” icon to the reaction bar, so you don’t have to add the emoji to the Appearance settings manually beforehand, and can use the reaction just once, and not have it be part of your selection 
I couldn’t come up with a good way to do that. Show me what comes next after you click + and I’ll do it.

iOS 17 has a feature to detect content like that automatically but I’m not sure if they’ll make it possible for apps to use it. That’ll be sick to filter them
