One of my favorite lessons from LOTR is that you cannot simply rely on those more powerful to fix everything for you.

In the Fellowship, Gandalf says, “I must see the head of my order. He is both wise and powerful. Trust me, he'll know what to do.”

We all know how that turned out.

Imagine if humanity really thrived what would be possible?

It's 2023 and most people are stuck on the second step of Maslow's triangle. Most people are stuck in jobs they don't like because they are in debt and can't see any better option. Our most energetic years are wasted in schools learning how to not think for ourselves and become another monkey doing meaningless tasks for the rest of our lives.

People don't want to have kids because they can't even afford their own lives. They can't buy their own land or build their own house, because there are leeches sucking the value out of their money. And the worst thing is, most people don't even understand what is happening.

Doesn't it make you angry?

Making relative improvements to real world > wasting time with the purity olympics of social media
