it’s not the url of the feed itself, it’s the link to the original nitter post that you see on the bottom of the post. so it shouldn’t require changing the pub key to fix i think?
Hmm, how about a way for Amethyst to not automatically download any media over a certain size, and allow a user to tap a download icon if they want to see it? That way it wouldn’t be a setting, but more a safeguard limit, and only would affect certain circumstances.
Given that the bulk of data usage comes from images/videos/gifs, a good way would be to give the option to not automatically load images, but if a user taps a "download" button on the post, then the image for that post would be loaded.
Btw, upon checking again, I'm actually using the https url when sending the nitter rss feed url to rsslay, so I'm wondering if there's something happening on the rsslay side to cause the links to be http?

Yeah it would be a great use case for nostr channels!
I'm surprised that Telegram seems to be the chat app of choice for discussing nostr projects, as opposed to a decentralized + open source chat app like Session
