You technically always could, it was just turned off by default in the settings when Snowden’s entrance to nostr overloaded relays. You were able to turn it back on though.
Yup you’re describing what’s being called a streaming/mirrored relay, and there’s a repo for that kind of relay that you can run actually: https://github.com/hoytech/strfry
and if I’m not mistaken, this relay runs strfry: wss://nos.lol

That sounds great! Is it called "Brötchen"?
Ah i’ve read about this before! It actually (in my opinion at least) kinda goes well with this part of the philosophy of Stoicism:
“Stoics thought that, in order to be happy, we must learn to distinguish between what we can control and what we cannot.”
I’ve been having this issue for the last week or two as well. I use Damus on mobile and alternate between Snort/Iris on desktop. I’ve tried unfollowing accounts on all 3, but they keep getting refollowed.
That’s super interesting, what’s LOA?
haha we’re pretty great! is astrology the kind of spirituality you’re into? or other stuff too
This is a great nostr search engine: https://nostrum.pro/search/#search_users:alby
Oh and I also like urban planning + transit topics!
Outside of nostr, what are everyone's interests/hobbies that I can look forward to y'all posting about? For me, expect lots of nerding out on history (especially antiquity area)!
#[0] Out of curiosity, what's the underlying cause of Iris taking a while to connect to all my relays, while native apps like Damus connect to them all within a few seconds? Is it a limitation of web clients?
