I don't know who help edit a lot on info on the Client Comparison Sheet but thank you! This is great

nostr:nprofile1qqswuyd9ml6qcxd92h6pleptfrcqucvvjy39vg4wx7mv9wm8kakyujgua442w - thank you for filling in both the sheets feature and NIP. Been wanting to try Gossip for so long.

Adding some client devs - this comparison list is for all. I initiated this out of curiosity. If you can spare 10 mins to fill in on both features and NIPs, that would beneficial to all. I believe this would be useful for you too.

Who does Astral Ninja belong to ?

Also, what is that name of the buggy app that look like telegram and your nsec gets hacked? Is it still in operation?

Here's the Client Comparison List. Please read the above post before editing. Thank you !

Nostr just got a bit of a content upgrade!

Thanks to nostr:npub18c556t7n8xa3df2q82rwxejfglw5przds7sqvefylzjh8tjne28qld0we7 , we now have 19 new RSS feeds (and probably more to come) from popular publications you might know!

You can find them on my profile under recent "people" I followed, or in this list: https://listr.lol/a/naddr1qqy4y56nyprx2etywvpzqx78pgq53vlnzmdr8l3u38eru0n3438lnxqz0mr39wg9e5j0dfq3qvzqqqr4xq8yq7gf

For clients, consider asking users for their interests in onboarding and recommending some of these feeds, or any of the ones we add in the future. This way the user has something to browse even if nobody else talks about that subject much.

Hopefully this also helps encourage more conversations on Nostr, either as direct quotes, or just to kick around some ideas in people's minds.

Here is a list of publications and their RSS feeds that we've added:

NASA Image of the Day

WIRED Science

WIRED AI

Pitchfork

Engadget

Science Daily

Minimalist Baker

UX Movement

Fortune

MIT Technology Review

Harvard Business Review

Lifehacker

The Verge

IGN

Android Police

MacRumors

Steam

ESPN

Scientific American

If you have any favorites that are missing, please let me know and I'll add them to our working to-do list!

None of this would be possible without the legend nostr:npub18c556t7n8xa3df2q82rwxejfglw5przds7sqvefylzjh8tjne28qld0we7 so please zap him some fat zaps ⚡ if you find the content helpful 🙌

If you were trying to generate a bridged nostr profile for a subreddit, the rss feed url needs to be formatted in a specific way for it to work. Like so:

https://www.reddit.com/r/historymemes/best/.rss?sort=new

Props to #[0] for building rsslay.nostr.moe!

Ironic that the super risky gain-of-function research that was occurring at Wuhan Institute of Virology was aimed at getting a head start on coronavirus vaccine development, and yet China’s covid vaccines ended up being garbage compared to Moderna/Pfizer/BioNTech/others

New improvement to Agora just added:

You can now link directly to a topic's using /topic/**topic name goes here**

For example, the page for #baking would be:https://agorasocial.app/topic/baking

Working on a feature where every time someone follows a topic on Agora that has a subreddit with the same name, it’ll archive the top posts to that subreddit of all time onto nostr.

I'm starting to see the hashtag #Rexxit being used for discussions on the Reddit exodus to alternatives 😂

Map of the world's railways and the different gauges in use.#MapPorn

yeah if your focus is purely performance, i’d go with strfry. If you want to run a paid relay, Nostream makes it super convenient

😂 fair enough, it’s not super critical to the user experience for something meant to replace Reddit anyway.

I'm glad my work has been a force multiplier for you, hopefully projects like these proliferate. I'm also excited to see a real reddit replacement get built on nostr!

huge thanks to you for the hard work you're doing on the coracle base code, made it so much smoother to build the user experience with the hard parts already handled so well by Coracle.

Are we deprecating that?
