Paleo-conservative dorks that love to romanticize the 50s/60s: “everyone was much thinner and healthier looking back then”
While the daily caloric intake of the average american has increased about 20-25% since the 60s, there’s another *big* component as to why people were thinner back then: they smoked like chimneys.
So let’s not act like they were thin because they were healthy. The nicotine was suppressing their appetite and half of them were functioning alcoholics.

I gotta give credit to Hyundai/Kia for experimenting with unique designs the past few years!

you probably need to add one or both of these relays: wss://relay.nostr.band
wss://relay.mostr.pub
Give Agora a try, it’s a web app i’m working on that focuses the experience on following topics of interest, rather than hunting for individual people to follow.

This is so cool! Basically, Bridgy Fed is a project aiming to bridge any decentralized social protocol to any other
protocol, (eg. Bluesky <=> Nostr, ActivityPub <=> Bluesky,
and all other combinations).
This table shows
what currently works and what's being worked on when it comes to these
combinations. This falls in line with one of my goals with Agora, to be
able to aggregate content from the major decentralized protocols without
having to think about handling all of them separately.

There's plenty they exaggerate, but let's be real here. If someone sends a link to your post and the average user opens it up and sees this when they try to reply... I'm sorry but Mastodon has some garbage UX that make it obvious it was designed by/for developers who have no idea what an intuitive UX is.
