Now say I am 10 yards away, can I throw it at you? Is that ok?

Say you are in a different city, can I put it it in an envelope and send it to you?

If you are in a different country, can I send you a text and say, I promise I’ll pay you $10 when I see you?

Micro txs like zaps are changing the way I think about sats. 1000 sats now

feels like a big number just from daily #zap denominations like 21 becoming normalized in my subconscious. Feels like I’m living in the future.

I’d also like to say what we’re doing here on #Nostr (V4V) is special and unique. The people using Nostr today value #sats orders of magnitude more than the market does and yet we readily send them back and forth to use the tech, support ideas we like and because it’s super fun (we’re nerds). I wouldn’t trade what’s happening on nostr right now for anything.

I assume other hunters of the tribe will do the same job as I do, and will share with me as I will. That makes 3lbs of meet per person per day. Not per year.

One average bull contains 500kg edible meat. So, if you live in a tribe of 350 hunters in a warm place with a clean river where clothes and shelter are optional, do you know how much you need to work?

In the US, they take your cost basis. If the gifts are under $15,000 at the time of the gift, you don’t pay any tax, and the cost basis isn’t adjusted. The recipients only pay capital gains tax when they sell(spend).

Example: you buy at 1k, transfer to them at 3k, they sell at 5k, they pay capital gains tax on 4K.

They do have noKYC sats as long as you don’t rat them out, and if the place they are spending at don’t require proof of how they acquired it.

Here’s a little feel good story to start the day…

Full day of driving ahead so I packed a little chicken sandwich for the road.

Hit the highway pretty early.

Get a mile down the road and this car pulls out to pass me.

So I slow down a little and notice he’s not going that fast.

Younger kid and he has his window down and says “did you leave your lunch on the roof?”

I said yep.

He said “it fell off when you pulled out, didn’t want you to get hungry and realize you didn’t have lunch”

Made my day.

Sandwich is a little haggard but doesn’t appear to have been run over.

It will be eaten.
