Let’s break down the idiocracy of the money transmitter thing.

I have $10 in cash. I can hand it to you without anyone knowing. Is this ok?

Now say I am 10 yards away, can I throw it at you? Is that ok?

Say you are in a different city, can I put it it in an envelope and send it to you?

If you are in a different country, can I send you a text and say, I promise I’ll pay you $10 when I see you?

Where do we draw the line for money transmitter?

They are tightening the vice more and more every month

send me $10 in cash and then send me $10 in the "illegal" way

You want some of that rogue money 😅

living on the edge, baby

If you do that with 2Billion dollars you're going to get fucked.

I can’t promise to pay you 2 billion dollars over text?

You can, and if you report the transaction to the authorities you're gonna be fine.

But if you think you're gonna start transacting privately out of the governments reach above the threshold where they will come fuck with you...well then...I'll visit you in a cell.

Is it just? No.

We need to be more careful, just like Satoshi was with WikiLeaks...

It’s drawn wherever it’s most convenient to them. It can be capriciously changed as well. We know that.

Welp looks like they need to shut down the USPS. Not only are they the biggest drug trafficker in the country, now they’re unlicensed money transmitters

Where do we draw the line 🤷🏻‍♂️

There is no line. It’s all imaginary

so long as its government run, drug trafficking and all everything else is OK.

Line drawn.

The problem is the war is on cash too. It's just established so it's harder to target.

The whole "licensed money transmitter" concept is ridiculous -- I would say "hilariously ridiculous" if it weren't for the fact that the bastards are putting good people in horrific prisons, using that as an excuse. The main purpose of money is to transmit it, for the gods' sake!
