Picking JSON serialization rather than a well specified binary serialization was a terrible idea. Satoshi got this right; nostr did not.
Right, but if a binary setialization was used, details encoding of Unicode would still have to be sorted out.
On the bright side, this does not about validation or consensus, but display of some special characters. (I mean I think there is no use case where clients REconstruct y Json, and any diffrence would lead to different hash.)

Nostr Delegation (nip-26) and Nostr Connect (aka Signer nip-46) solve a very similar problem: interacting safely with Nostr, while your secret key is kept in a secure app.
The Signer way is suitable for occasional signing, while delegated apps can work fully on their own.
The beautiful thing is that you can create a Delegation using a Signer!

They way I envision it:
- An OPEN PROTOCOL on how to represent/exchange entities on Nostr -- this is the most important to get it right (repos, forks, issues, PRs, etc)
- The git tool extended with some functionality
- Apps/webapps built on top
I'm afraid there are multile cornercase with followers, metadata, replies, etc...
E.g. if you are delegatee, your feed should contain followers of the delegator.
