At first I thought the same but I think it is running by nostr devs to test network and also to empower people to use zapping and zaps feature... Bot zap to me 3 times last 10 hours and I can see the bot sometimes is still pending and searching for new pubkeys to not repeat everytime the same people!
Iris web allow you to zap people but I think most important (to see how many zaps on client side) depends on your wallet. I can zap you but NIP57 is not working ok with my wallet on iris client.
Do you try #[0] the bot is giivng away sats to every pubkey active on nostr network. Please try it, I think it is cool for people try and play with zaps and test if network is working OK! Healthy bot !
