Me watching the BTC price chart. Not sure I understand all the hype.
Listening to a podcast today, I heard, "Market externalities are why we need governments"
I find this argument uncompelling. Yes, market externalities exist. But they're dwarfed by government externalities.
Did W pay the full costs of the patriot act?
Did O pay the full costs of the ACA?
Now swap "full" with "any"
Does any politician care for any consequence beyond the length of their term?
Governments as the solution to market externalities is like gouging your eye out because you contracted pink eye.

Listening to this made me bullish on nostr.
Aviation students look at that number as a pretty good deal.
Why not in real terms? There's still (effectively) infinite resources and only 21m Bitcoin.
Infinity divided by 21m is still infinity.
Good morning!
Finally Friday.

The airplane annual is going well and quicker than anticipated... Which I guess is what you'd expect.
I may have pissed of the mechanic though.

1 Thes 5:16-18
Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
What I'd say to Schiff: put your money where your mouth is and bet. You take the short position and I'll take the long position. If at the next halving, Bitcoin is less than now I'll pay you the difference. If it's more than now you pay me the difference.
If you're not willing to take this bet you've tipped your hand. You either:
a) don't believe your own statement that Bitcoin is going to crash or
b) you don't believe in the free market to accurately price Bitcoin
So what do you chose:
- Take the bet
- a
- b
I'll wait.
Listening to the Schiff Mallers debate is infuriating. I find it hard to respect Schiff in anything based on the way he debates.
People have said this is an example of a respectful debate. I don't find interrupting your opponent in the middle of a statement to be respectful. It's not listening to your opponent it's merely waiting for an opportunity to score a point.
