Fuck Israhell

The question that he makes at the end is basically the same as asking "where does inertia come from?"

It's a mystery for quantum physics to decipher. We only know that inertia exists.

Hm, yes, truth is important.

The question is, what for?

People have lost interest in Space. i think that's one of the main reasons why stuff like Flat Earth gain traction.

If they can do nothing with truth, to them it's no different than a tale.

I would like to offer people the possibility of doing useful stuff in Space.

Conspiracy theories, just like any theories, are science too, they are part of the scientific process, you shouldn't discard them.

"Bunch of lunatics" sounds like ad hominem to me. Bad science again on your part.

"Honest scientists" is questionable in some cases (because of conflicts of interest) and honesty is sometimes irrelevant because they aren't infallible, they make mistakes too.

They give "simple explanations" that make sense **to you**. General relativity is not simple, at least for the average joe. Even most physicists don't fully understand it.

"Go ahead, prove earth is flat, moron", is not how you create constructive dialog.

Flatearthers are right at questioning things, they are wrong at making a cult out of it.

But attitudes like yours justify them for creating a cult, it's a self-defense mechanism, defense from attacks like the one you just did.

They say it was made "in bad faith", and you believe it. Your choice, your beliefs.

The problem with what he said is that he tripled down trying to disprove the results of his own experiments, because he didn't like the results, and he **failed again**.

Not sure why my reply doesn't appear.

I said that this guy is a moron, discard his "opinions".

You can do experiments, and the flatearthers did the right thing when they did the experiments. They just didn't like the results!

I've measured the curvature myself, on video footage and in person at specific places with clear visibility. The math checks out perfectly.

But again, irrelevant since you won't do it yourself. Better ask yourself questions. Mars is a dead planet, why is it that we only hear about? Why not Venus? Titan? Moon?

Flatearthers will tell you "oh, those places are smaller than they say". Not a reason not to go. Why nobody wants us to go? **Ask yourself questions.**

There is truth everywhere. And there are lies everywhere.

It boggles the mind.

For example, not wanting to go back to the topic, but just as an example, the Earth is actually flat, as long as you go fast enough in orbit. This all according to relativistic physics. But mainstream science fans will never tell you that, because they don't fully understand it, they focus too much on little details that are easy to grasp.

So yeah, there are crumbs of truth here and there in every theory, in every domain of knowledge too.

Same for religions. Who are the gods and prophets that manifested themselves in the past? People fight over them because of inconsistencies, sometimes just apparent ones. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from miracles, correct? This should be easy to be figured out by the majority, but they're not even close to questioning these things, they only follow "the program".

I believe there is a physiological problem with the human brain.

I did.

Could tell you a lot about them, but there is an easier way.

Get your hands on a good telescope, contemplate the Moon and Venus every night. Ask yourself why nobody wants us to go there.

See with your own eyes.

True. The current understanding of science is flawed, **because** it attempts to understand everything, which is never possible.

General Relativity is fine for the issue it meant to address. No need to apply to quantum physics, that's a mistake. Newtonian physics is fine for its domain, no need to apply to relativistic domains (what flatearthers do).

The urge to "explain everything" is the human hubris holding Mankind back.

We should focus more on doing rather than "explaining" for the sake of it.

This is a self-own, man. You clearly don't understand what the older guy is talking about.

Don't be a fool, it's a psyop.

They don't want regular people in Space. They have advanced spaceships that they hoard for themselves, they explore the galaxy in secret, they want the populace fragmented and looking at idiotic videos of rockets (either to love or hate) that will never take anyone anywhere, except for the filthy rich billionaires (and even some of them will explode in mid-air from time to time, them suckers.)

The real science and the real technology is reserved for the elite. Flat Earth is a psyop to entertain you, ignorant peasants.

Everything can be independently verified, it costs a load of money, but it can be done.

The problem is that every time a flatearther finds an uncomfortable truth, either he censors himself, or is ostracized by the "community", or just disappears. It's a cult.
