Theoretically yes, but practically no.

If there is an average of one draw every 10 minutes, I would need to be able to submit at least 1 ticket (= 1 share with difficulty 1) every 10 minutes. If I fill out a lottery ticket but don't submit it in time, my ticket will not be considered in the draw.

With the NerdMiner, it takes an average of 60 hours to generate 1 share that meets the required minimum difficulty of 1 and is actually submitted to the solo pool. All hashes smaller than difficulty 1 are not transmitted and are essentially nonexistent because no one takes notice of them.

The technical explanation is as follows:

By default, ckpool has a pool difficulty of 10,000. For example, with cgminer, it is possible to lower the minimum difficulty to 1 using the parameter --suggest-diff 1. This means a share must meet the minimum difficulty of 1 for it to be accepted by the solo pool. Anything smaller than difficulty 1 is ignored. That's why there is no statistics for the NerdMiner because hardly anything gets through.

In terms of numbers, this means that for every GH per minute, 14 shares with difficulty 1 are generated. Therefore, for every GH in 10 minutes, 140 shares with difficulty 1 are generated:

1,000,000,000 H/s ÷ 2^32 x 60s x 10min = 140 shares with difficulty 1

In other words, I would need at least 71 MH/s or 3,550 NerdMiners in order to transmit 1 share with difficulty 1 to the solo pool every 10 minutes and for the pool to take note of the submitted hashrate:

1,000,000,000 H/s ÷ 140 = 7,142,857 H/s = 71 MH/s

71 MH/s ÷ 20 KH/s ≈ 3,550 NerdMiners

A private glimpse into my life, but I don't see #Nostr like Twitter, rather more like a big family. Bitcoiners are all the same.

- They broke me -

I used to be a law-abiding citizen, got COVID and got vaccinated three times. Six months later, I wasn't feeling well anymore. I lost all my stamina, was out of breath after a few steps. I gradually lost my will to live. Previously, I was very active in sports, not the athlete I aspired to be, but I went to the gym four times a week and was content. After the whole COVID period, I just couldn't do it anymore. I was sweating while loading weights, experiencing breathing problems, and had to go home. I never returned to the gym.

Things also got worse at work. I had no drive left. I would feel dizzy while sitting and had breathing issues. The ambulance had to come once.

The only thing that kept me going in life were my wife and our two wonderful girls.

But more and more, I realize that I run out of steam too quickly even with them. I can't keep up anymore, and the will to make it leaves you desperate. That's why I have to do something. I owe it to them to hang on, to be a good father and husband, and to teach my children everything I know. They are my little world and mean everything to me.

I will kick the system so hard in the ass, pick myself up, and hit them where it hurts them the most, their money!

The best part is, I know I'm not alone. Bitcoiners are everywhere, and we're bringing everyone we know onto the orange path. I'm glad to be a part of this silent war, in a time when there has never been a better opportunity to take everything from them and truly separate money from the state.

The fiat people are too distracted to think about fundamental issues. Aggressiveness is steadily increasing, and many would already betray their neighbors for bonus points. And then... there's this "insignificant" group of Bitcoiners who will change EVERYTHING. Let's do it for the uninformed as well; they have no idea what's coming for them. Let's become a society again, regardless of country or gender. We are human beings who deserve to live in peace and harmony because we only have this one chance. THAT'S WHY #BITCOIN.
