I guess if you go TLM. Outside that not many Caths use Latin anymore. Greek and Hebrew are all the hotness.
You could read Sts. Augustine and Aquinas in their original language.
Latin is one of those languages that sounds epic and cool but I have no idea what I’d actually use it for compared to Greek or Spanish.
Never could get into Latin.
High culture can be a replacement for sincerely held beliefs. It’s no surprise to me, in retrospect, that young men are drawn to the TLM and Eastern Orthodoxy. It’s because they have the appearance of depth without making you think about why the customs are the way they are.
Because it’s a violation of the 2nd Commandment.
I think he did it right tbh. It’s not his fault normies are enslaved to corporations to govern the canonicity of their favorite stories.
The 2nd Commandment doesn’t make that distinction, it just says not to make any image in the likeness of anything on the Earth, in the Sea, or in Heaven.
#[0] Why do Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic “Christians” worship idols?
Imagine having a bum this fluffed.
I don’t think you’re right about the 5th one…
Try summarizing the 3rd and 5th Ecumenical Councils.
#[0] Summarize the 5th and 6th Ecumenical Councils for me.
Probably an obscure South American country that no one visits or knows about, if you can live with the Papism.
““No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”
Matthew 6:24 LSB
