Stable channel release of GrapheneOS based on Android 15 will begin rolling out to devices. To avoid the servers being overloaded due to much larger than usual deltas, we'll be starting with the newest devices and working towards the oldest ones. Can use Beta if you want it now.
In what sense? It's a tiny app that's part of the standard Android UI.
Please always look very carefully at where the money comes from.
SimpleX Chat received 380,000 dollars from Village Global. This is the venture capital company of Jef Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, ect.
This means that big tech companies have already long been involved in SimpleX Chat!

Don´t use SimpleX. Better switch to Threema from Switzerland.

OFT = OpenTechnologyFund = US-Goverment
That's not a good comparison. It has a lot of inaccuracies and weird decisions made in it.
SimpleX is a real private messaging app with end-to-end encryption, and unlike some other non-Signal E2EE messaging apps has perfect forward secrecy.
Telegram has full access to all of the content of group chats and regular one-to-one chats due to lack of end-to-end encryption. Their opt-in secret chats use homegrown end-to-end encryption with weaknesses. Deleting the content from the app likely won't remove all copies of it.
