I don't want to read, can you summarize it in a few paragraphs? If you can't or won't, isn't that obvious the trend you hate will continue ? Since the right mindset is so different to convey. And how can you be sure you will able to properly convey this to your family.

How do you define nature Fundamentally, most of the human social development is to make live easier against the nature.
We are just some insignificant ones in this vast crazy and dark universe, so I don't think anyone has a good grasp of "what's nature". So just show some love, let people express themself, ofc it may be overdone for a while.
