folks, I'm going to be frank:

I am seeing a lot of shitty victim-blaming happening around the LA fires

and while you are of course entitled to grind your ideological axes wherever you will

consider that, to the millions of people who are, or who have family, caught up in this horrifying situation

when you do so, you look like a dickhead

and consider whether having some compassion or, failing that, shutting the fuck up

would be a better choice

got a little break in the weather at the end of the day, just enough to take a very windy beach walk

I don't really like disembarking without having something connecting me to the boat, and I have no idea what people do at docks without one (I guess pull the whole thing out of the water? seems like a lot of work for a problem I could solve with a little piece of line)
