http://hamishcampbell.com/2023/09/05/to-solve-polarity/ To "solve" polarity?
https://dwebcamp.org/people/ these people are more "problem" than they are "solution", why do you think this might be so?

nostr:npub1jf9sz2j8537gd5z5x2fjrj5aqrhpwnc9h6dpg07gwqmd72xtffkqcj936x I have talked to the organizers a few times over the last years, they have an agenda.
From this look through the videos...
The #OGB project emphasizes voluntary collaboration by prioritizing sortition and 'messy consensus' in achieving decision-making and a more equitable power distribution for all.
Draw on experience gained through the five years involvement with #Mastodon instances and the larger #Fediverse. The #OGB aims to decentralize democratic systems for grassroots governance, free to all with a focus on producers and consumers. This project does not seek to create a single organization dictating protocols or standards. Rather a vision to enable organic creation of synthesis, where competing arguments are broached to formulate corrective procedures and proposals for implementation.
#OGB project aims to address challenges that currently exist within grassroots organizations by creating a tool set for 'Do It Yourself' (DIY) governance rooted by a 'Keep It Simple Stupid' (KISS) standard framework. Human organization and governance are inherently complex and messy. Standard approaches tend to enforce rigid structures - forcing messy processes to be, 'cleaner', 'neater' and 'tidier' - through such forced behaviour, inevitably failing.
The https://dwebcamp.org/videos/ crew look so out of tough with the #fediverse and our #openweb reboot in general.

"Practical" governance #FOSS the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benevolent_dictator_for_life is a start. Then the are https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favourite expand the ruling monarchy... and that's about it for most #FOSS projects, it's a premodern idea of governance basically feudalism is the nearest match.

nostr:npub1ezr56g9d9k2760f8q7rs9cscy8wmma3lvu4xxwqlhj39xypzadnsfwgw6v have you thought that having all the #openwebs security going through one org might be a fail.
#4open #KISS big/small picture thinking issue.
The mess we have made https://visionon.tv/w/m9L2iXgsNgMiRU8fm6wfoJ
We used to call this "netiquette" for the #fluffy side and it existed in meany "spiky" tech projects but was never codified, maybe this might be a good problem to try and solve?
It's interesting to see the balance of fail and success in this #openweb project/community in the small picture we seced in the big picture we fail, a recurring #geekproblem. How to care about this is something we don't think about much. Maybe this should be a part of our SocialHub Community Values, how can we embedded something like this, is it even possible.
