Fulcrum is suuuper fast, but it is fragile! I heard the newest update somewhat mitigates the issue it has corrupting drives when not turned off graciously.

First time iv ever set up a proxmox server, and got to grips with using VMs. Learned alot today!

#lightning will properly take off when merchants realise they can save them selves a couple % per transaction by avoiding the usual card processors.
It seems all the infrastructure is there, but its not going to be utilised until bitcoin is treated like the cash it was designed to be. I'm not sure how we get around the regulators on this one.
I don't really want to be sending merchants sats if they are just going to swop them immediately for fiat, I may as well just use that in that case.
Where do you guys use #lightning other than on #nostr? Iv got a wallet with some sats in and I'd love to see some useful applications of lightning.
Iv toyed with the idea of setting up my own #node (already running an l1 node) but can't see the use if I'm not really making payments. Again would like to only use a non custodial wallet but as it stands here is the only place in use it, for the #zaps
