I'll gladly take a copy too! Only used a bit of Linux in setting up proxmox/mydojo, so really only know some basic stuff like cd and rm etc
I guess maybe do them a cheat sheet of basic and maybe less basic commands, when they see they can use those commands almost like clicking on a folder or whatever, maybe that would help?
I wonder if an idea for "scaleability" for #bitcoin l1 in the future looks like some sort of co ordinator putting txs out in batches kind of like coinjoin rounds. Like, you broadcast your tx with the amount that you want to pay in fees and then the co ordinator takes all the inputs and outputs and sorts it all out. Would be good for privacy potentially, and perhaps power in numbers of people willing to pay fees would help the group txs. Probably wouldn't save any blockspace though would it? Still going to be lots of ins and outs.
Thinking in terms of people using bitcoin as a monetary layer and how large numbers of people can do that with finite blockchain space.
Back and arms at the #gym tonight. Always a bit scary when the ole' back feels a hit fucky anyway. But when it comes down to it none of the movements I do hurt my back (I'm not doing deadlifts...)
Iv come to approach these things a bit like a dark souls game, keep on making tiny steps forward, get knocked back, learn how to fix that particular problem, move forward again, find another small problem to fix. Will seriously sharpen up your google-fu too. Also, chatgpt can be a really helpful tool for stuff like this.
Trying to get back to going to the #gym again more consistently. Good news is I don't seem to have lost *too* much strength, but what I have lost is my conditioning. Proper taking it out of me!
Ah fuck me #Lightning network is sooo shit. I really want to like it but its crap.
It was a pretty standard hour ish set, so much to get through though! It was more like lots of bits of songs. Well worth it!
Saw Doom with Ghost face years ago, man that was a sick gig
Feeling pretty destructive right now.
When in doubt, just do drugs about it.
I must have used at least 15l of water setting up my newest #node
So I guess about 4 days from spinning up a blank container to my wallets backed by my own node. Not bad! A much more involved process overall than i have done before, but worth it for sure.
If you are looking for a really comprehensive guide to set up your own node on a pc check out kyc.life and have a look around. I heartily recommend!
Yeah definitely, having to trouble shoot constantly, but I guess that's how to learn! And I have certainly learned alot!
