Check out my website @ https://nathan.woodburn.au or using a Handshake resolver @ https://nathan.woodburn

I've been doing a bunch of updates on FireWallet and would like feedback. Have a look and let me know if you can think of any improvements.

Just been camping at the Warrumbungle National Park (one of the best sky's for stars in Australia). So I tried taking a time-lapse of the stars appearing, unfortunately I just missed the golden hour.

Awesome. I've been wanting to set one up for ages. I tried about a year ago but accidentally lost my channel and the funds in it. Was Alby hub easy to setup? Also how are you managing channels? Just waiting to accept them or created some initial ones?

Any suggestions of what to build? I'm a bit bored lately.

The stars were super bright last night so I tested out a time-lapse with my phone. I'm surprised how well it worked. This took about 35 minutes to record.

Just published a brief overview of my past year.

Have a look https://nathan.woodburn.au/now

Finished my final university exams for the year so I'm spending the weekend down the coast.

HNSDoH now has the option to select resolver nodes in your regions.

You can now select from 5 regions: Australia, Europe, North America, Asia and Asia Pacific (Asia + Australia).

Pick the region closest to you to have fast resolution.

Just posted a new update at https://nathan.woodburn.au/now to recap my last 2 weeks.

Why NIP05, when you can verify domain ownership via TXT record?

TXT record is simple to set up, you don’t necessarily need to host a website to add such record. It’s faster as well.

You don’t need to be tech savvy to copy&paste npub in DNS settings. Literally anyone can do it + it’s less steps to verify yourself.

Hmm. I'm guessing to make it easier to provide NIP05 services. It is much easier to have dynamic served content via a website than to do it with TXT records.

Linux is so big now that most people forget GNU is a thing

Are you part of the Handshake community? Please share what you think about the idea of a hard fork. We need to hear what everyone thinks as this is a community run project.

nostr:npub1g8l0k5dskjru0dz3923tjkwwm58g48el5vxjjej2nk2psy3uzrkqnzy247 A few of the Handshake community would like to gift you .z-lib. Handshake domains are censorship resistant by allowing only the holder of the private key to edit the Nameservers (and other root DNS records). Please let me know if we can help you set this up to allow people to access your site on https://z-lib or https://.z-lib
