Apple should stick to the screensavers, because those are damn good! Don’t let any of their writers anywhere near it and the quality will soar.
Samey and agenda focused is a good way to put it. They just instantly kill it before anything can breath—everything must be smothered with preachy woke agenda or completely unrealistic motivations. The Crown is a standout in my mind right now as one of the most well-written, acted and shot shows of the current era. I couldn’t really care less about the royals, but the show is just so well done.
Yeah—amazing writing on the Sopranos. Precious few good productions now. It’s all bad, especially Apple’s stuff. They can’t write to save their lives. It’s an epic embarrassment. All programming exists to lazily check woke theme quotas only.
The work of today’s woke series “writers” is too painful to endure. We went from the golden age of TV to the dark ages overnight.
