hey #nostr, GM! I just installed the testflight beta of the iOS #wavlake app and it’s fire. It looks a bit like a Spotify clone and the music auto plays and it’s surprisingly good music.

It’s too early to think in satoshis because of BTC-USD volatility and the fact that we all pay our bills and buy groceries in our country’s local FRNs, and you’re right to see fault in this, but the BTC-USD ratio says something about both currencies, and a rising bitcoin price could actually just be a dropping dollar price. One day the price of bitcoin will stabilize, and at that event horizon things will start being priced in satoshis, but the BTC-USD ratio will still exist, it’s just that people will think about it oppositely then, and just look at how many dollars a bitcoin gets you, watching that number go up and down, while goods with basically stable market prices will be priced in satoshis, and that number will stay stable under your cereal box at the grocery store.

Some of them are evolving. People in my family on the left have lost all the wind in their sails which is funny of course and are starting to wonder if the political machine on the left that never gave them what they’ve been voting for anyway, was taking advantage of their empty all along. It’s not hopeless but everyone needs to make sure their gaze is on the middle and the the extreme edges.

You speak hard truth, and also having lived it myself I know that the media and tech overlords also run the organizations who programmed us on the right, which creates the fear of the left and the immigrants and gay people and others. I escaped these fears through freedom tech just like you explain. It’s really the overlords who are the problem and I see nostr and freedom tech as a place for those of us from either side to meet in the middle and realize this together in unity as I recently have and see that we were divided into factions easily because of our money problems, which cause all the frustration and blaming, inviting in the hate on both sides. Wherever you sit on the political spectrum is just a personality quiz and should not be held against you any more than your eye color, and wealthy elites don’t sit around discussing anarchy vs libertarianism because they’re just fat and happy and they know those silly arguments are for the plebs down on the streets below, who they laugh at for turning their insignificant personality differences into a civil war but if we were all fat and happy it would cause the false divisions between left and right that are baked into society to start dissolving, because as a fat happy, you’re not frustrated by being overworked and underpaid, your relaxed and happy, which is why they don’t want you fat and happy because then you would figure out the ruse and everyone would realize that there’s actually more than enough money for everyone but keeping it out of reach keeps us at each other’s throats, right and left. Over time I think this working family home financial frustration situation causes a fight or flight reaction in the average broke bill-paying pleb, leading to a taking up of arms. #bitcoin helps peel back that first layer which is the fiat lie. It’s not really hard to get anyone to understand the fiat inflation scam on either side of the political spectrum, so bitcoin is the best gateway drug to the rest of freedom tech and the unchaining and meeting in the middle that follows, and it directly brought me here to nostr from a place on the right as toxic as anything the looney left has after realizing all this and understanding that hate is bad for everyone. The #bitcoin future I see sends the history of the left/right fight to the museum along with so many other silly things we used to kill each other over. I guess what I’m saying is I hope we can lay down the arms and leave left/right at the door here on #nostr and evolve ^up^ in a circular bitcoin economy where the prosperity of anyone helps the prosperity of everyone, no politics or forced wealth distribution or affirmative action necessary.
