I started with nostr:npub1e0z776cpe0gllgktjk54fuzv8pdfxmq6smsmh8xd7t8s7n474n9smk0txy ās new nostr:npub1vmpf90hq56wzyxht6teg3llpa74rzcepw9suj5unxl3tph24zd4qgtxhm7 Lightning Class and now feel competent enough to try setting up my own LN node. Part of the class was simulating LN updates with paper cards which I highly recommend! ā”ļø 
Iāve built a little meshtastic LoRA node and tested sending messages with a friend . Was pretty easy. Havenāt had a chance to anything more with it.

Donāt forget than until the early 1990s hard encryption in the US was illegal to export (thanks NSA). Certainly made it difficult at the time to even consider how to make protocols more secure.
