They are punishing the EU, becuse they were forced to allow third party app stores in the EU.

It just slows down everything, it slows down progress but also slows down degeneration, I can't see it leading to anything other than conservitism.

In a rapidly changing world with so many problems, conservativism doesn't offer adequate solutions. Some rich countries can afford to be conservative, but most countries will need to seriously reform and direct democracy would mostly be an obstacle to that rather than a helpful tool.

Direct democracy has existed in Switzerland for a long while, it's an extremely inert system, they gave women voting rights only in 1975 because for a long time most men didn't think women deserved it, it would probably happen even later were it not for the outside pressure (they were the last country in Europe to give women voting rights).

It worked out for Switzerland as they have long been rich and developed, in poor and undeveloped countries direct democracy would probably lead to some sort of a religious and regressive system as you can't have a reformer that overrides the will of the majority and implements progressive policies.

I doubt anyone at apple knows what sats in Primal actually are, the app just came out on the App Store a week ago. He’d probably get canceled for any in-app purchase he made.

You can always top up your primal wallet in any other way, as this wasn’t intended to be a main way of topping up, it’s there just to fulfill Apple requirements and for new users to be able to quickly start zapping.

No, you get a regular lighting address, and you can top up any way you want just like any other Lightning address.

But Apple doesn’t allow promotions of those other means in the app itself, and mandates a way to get sats via the in-app purchases.

So you won’t see any other way to top it up in the app, we were forbidden from even mentioning it, but you can always do it.
