@BerganJamie There are two basic versions of Minecraft. 1 is Java Edition: PC only. 2 is Bedrock, which runs on virtually everything else.
Right now SC only supports Java. We would like to support Bedrock as well, since it would open up a massive player base.
Looking forward to this going live in-game. https://t.co/6TK4VBYaYS
I would love to see this happen.
I'm a big fan of @HwsEleutheroi , but the assumption that digital currency of any and every kind is slavery shows his ignorance of #Bitcoin and the fact that it is the absolute opposite of locking citizens into a permissioned system. https://t.co/PCk5GZZAMM

@BerganJamie @sovtoshi Not a bit! Particularly when it is showcasing just how seamlessly Bitcoin can integrate with a game economy.

@BerganJamie Currently Java Edition on PC only, but @sovtoshi is working on Bedrock support.

@BerganJamie Voting for the server on various websites will earn you some sats. 110 for your first ever vote, and 10 sats for every vote after that. I believe you can vote at 11 sites each day. Then you can use some of the teleport functions and buy some stuff on the AH.
To be fair, threat of violence has always been a part of what backed it, even under a gold standard. It's just that now that's all that backs it.
#Bitcoin eliminates borders, and it does so in a permissionless way.
For instance Sovereign Craft has integrated Bitcoin into their Minecraft server for ease of use, but if players wanted to, they could trade Bitcoin for in-game items without any official support on the server. The normal borders of using a particular in-game currency for each specific game need not apply.
The plugins used to facilitate trade on the Sovereign Craft server simply give both the buyer and seller assurances that they won't send the sats without receiving the item, or vice versa.

@BerganJamie Bitcoin has been integrated into Sovereign Craft's in-game economy via actual Lightning wallets that are leveraging LNBits.
Players can buy and sell in-game items and resources using sats at the global Auction House, in chest shops, or direct player-to-player trade.
@BerganJamie More than that, they can import their in-game wallet to Blue Wallet or Zeus Wallet and use it as a regular Lightning wallet outside of the game as well.

@BerganJamie @ndgoHODL Maybe not. It was added in update 0.9.0 in July of 2014.
Proof positive that Can't censor > Won't Censor
#Nostr is superior to any centralized platform. This would be the case even with the most rabidly free-speech CEO at the helm of that platform, and I am not convinced Elon Musk qualifies as such a CEO.
Happy to be here where speech really is free, because no one can censor us, rather than back on the dusty old bird app.

@wojakbitcoin @hyper_deflation And you certainly can with the two you control.
The point is, if you have an old 401k or IRA, it's strictly better to roll it over into #Bitcoin than to leave it in stocks and bonds. You've already been KYC'd on those funds.
@wojakbitcoin @hyper_deflation If you were to take it out of the 401k prior to retirement, you would take a 20% haircut plus any taxes, just to try and get it into KYC-free cold storage, to avoid paying taxes later, when it may not even be taxable then.

@wojakbitcoin @hyper_deflation Ok then. If you opt for an IRA with a Unchained, they only hold 1 key, and you hold 2. You hold a controlling quorum of keys.
The downside, of course, is privacy and KYC, but if you had an IRA or 401k that you rolled over into #Bitcoin, you had that already.

@wojakbitcoin @hyper_deflation Ever heard of a 2 of 3 multi-sig?
One of the few things that have gained more value over time in my life than #Bitcoin is my marriage to my amazing wife and mother of our three children. Building low time preference into our relationship for 17 years today.
Love you honey!
Been a while since I have had a chance to log into Sovereign Craft. I want to plan a massive build, but I should probably focus on getting Biitcoin educational material into our lobby first.
Some ideas for a house in the lobby dedicated to information about cold storage:
