I remember making friends with this band in Columbus, Georgia and getting dragged over to one of their apartments after a show and spending a Friday night drunk as fuck surrounded by this band and their gf customizing their myspace page. Everyone's mind was blown and they were acting like I was some sort of superhacker because I put a customized wallpaper that took forever to load and a looping midi of one of their songs on their band myspace.
Embedded sound files that would autoplay on loop whenever you opened someone's myspace.

The newfag hate comes from seeing something that was enjoyable and niche be completely destroyed and stripped of what made it good by unrestricted and overwhelming mass migration.
Those conditions don't really apply to NCD due to fundamental differences in the way it is designed and is run, but for anyone who used to use the old internet and saw it destroyed one piece at a time it is a bitter memory.
Tired, and a little irritable. Just need to pound enough coffee to make it through the next fifteen hours and then hopefully I can get a good night's sleep.
