Bolivia's most famous sight is probably the giant Salt Flat Salar de Uyuni. It's the world's largest salt flat and situated at 3650masl (~12000ft).
In dry season one can ride on its surface. However, in wet season it turns into a flooded salt swamp and it's impossible to enter it on a motorcycle.

Beautiful Volcano Osorno has an imposing conical shape. It is situated next to Lake Llanquihue in middle Chile.
One can ride up to the parking of the skiing region at ~1200m (~4000ft) altitude. Osorno's impressive summit is at 2650masl (8700ft).

This photo is from the dangerous Tatu Road to Nanga Parbat in Northern Pakistan. Nanga Parbat is one of the highest Mountains on earth with an altitude of 8125m (26600ft). This mountain is famous for its extremely difficult ascent.
Usually, Tatu Road is only accessible with local Jeep tours. However, we arrived there at the end of the season and they allowed us to ride this road by motorcycle.
The tiny road is very rocky and narrow without any guard railing and right next to a deep abyss.

Australia's Great Central Road is one of the big adventure riding tracks in Australia. One might think it is boring, but it actually isn't. It leads ~1000km (620mi) right through the middle of the Australian outback. While most of it is in a mediocre road condition, there are also parts with deep sand. Road houses are around every 300km (185mi). This is where one has to fill water and petrol. Otherwise there is almost nothing and one definitely don't want to get in trouble there.

Laguna Diamante in Argentina's Catamarca province is situated at ~4600m (~15100ft) in one of the biggest craters on earth - Cerro GalĂĄn Caldera.
To reach this beautiful lagoon, one has to descend from a steep rocky crater rim at 4850m (~16000ft) and ride into the crater.
As you can see, the name Laguna Diamante is not a coincidence.

A real adventure riding track in Nortwest Africa is the Iron Ore Track following the famous Iron Ore Train in Mauritania. Trains on this railway are among the largest and heaviest in this world leading through a part of the largest hot desert on earth - the Sahara.
The track follows the railway for around 450km (280mi). There isn't really a road for very long stretches and one has to ride through deep sand.
It also passes the second biggest monolith on earth (Ben Amera). That's the one you can see in the background of this photo.

The TET (Trans Euro Trail) is the European counterpart to the American TAT. It also leads through the fantastic Lura National Park (Lurë NP) in Albania. This place is also one of the last few areas with real European wilderness. Unfortunately, there aren't many places anymore in Europe, where you can ride for hours without meeting any people.

Here is one of the most impressive roads in the world. It's the breathtaking road to the little village Shimshal in northern Pakistan. Shimshal is a tiny mountain village, where most of the people work as sherpas. You can meet some of the world's best alpinists there. All of them have already been climbing the highest peaks of this world several times.
The road is also declared as "dangerous road" due to the little winding road right next to deep cliffs - without any guard railing, of course đ

This is Bolivias's famous Death Road also called Camino de la Muerte. In earlier days, this was a main road and one can imagine, that driving on this road with a truck, probably was quite exciting these days. Now it has become a touristic route and there is hardly any traffic anymore. It's still a beautiful and impressive road.
