PSA: If you want a moving picture (aka GIF) as your profile picture, go to https://nostr.build/ and drop any movie file under 25MB and click upload profile pic button. It will convert it into GIF f and return a link that you can use! 🐶🐾🫡
Is this only supported for profile videos at the moment?
I am asking because for slidestr.net (in the grid view) I still need a way to create preview images for video content. Would be nice if I could get a thumbnail or even a gif preview for every video hosted on nostr.build.

What device did you have issues on? I only have an iPhone to test and where the screen was displayed in it's entirety.
I see, that makes sense. I'm not sure if I would need batching since I only show one profile at a time, but I would definatly need caching.

I noticed that getProfile was removed which I am using in slidestr.net. Any hints on how to easily get the profile data now?

I don't see any other way currently, since I can not detect the image contents consistently based on the hashtags you use.
