Understood. Such a pain tho.... I wish you luck, and success getting those photos

Funny how information technology basically means you get to make up work if you don't have any

Well I think github.com or whatever might not be too resistant. But it just uses GIT. Which even if one person has an update or even semi-updated local repo they can put on any other public git hosting or keep it private and develop from there.

What would happen?

Millions would cheer the death of bitcoin - "yay. America numah one"

Bitcoiners would keep developing and the cycle would repeat until someone gave up or shooting started.

End of the day, just a roadbump to progress which is inevitable. Zoomers and other generations that grow up with apple pay and venmo will see the use case for bitcoin much more clearly than they're preceding generations.

Eh. It's worth pointing out that when you call you get :

-VM and then a text back

-some foreigner named Doug who can't understand and will need to escalate over a series of hours or days.

-most firms prefer to use low-value chat bots which waste time and ultimately yield a required call all in the name of MUH self service.

The real problem is customer service as a whole has deteriorated to the point where Noone is accountable

Bankers: rates are gonna drop in #2weeks

Good morning. Stack it.

Yea I gotta try it. I've seen some demos an it looks really similar to what I like about bisq. I think bisq2 and robosats are more similar in their work flow but again, haven't tried robosats. Tbqh, I just need to nut up and go to a btc meet up and do face to face (although those options are available in bisq and bisq2 lol)

Yes. You can check the signatures of the install packages as well (suggested).

Or build from source : https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq

Theres a brew cask for it as well although I'm not sure the version of it.

Bisq2 is suggested if you're looking for a quicker onboarding

I'm sorry, but you're just not #dougposting

That's a very good point. Things might have been dramatically different. Some btc fan fiction where the world government cracks down immediately, completely killing growth. Not that the idea could be killed... They tried that many times and failed.
