Currently revamping the “advanced” button in @FullyNoded, previously it simply activated the Bitcoin core wallet you tapped on. Now it checks if the wallet is a descriptor wallet, if it is it will prompt the user to select a wallet format based on which descriptors are in the Bitcoin Core wallet and it creates/syncs a Fully Noded wallet with the Core wallet so the user gets a seamless Fully Noded experience from their core wallet.

This means it will be way easier to seamlessly use/import a Core wallet into Fully Noded and retain the full rich feature set Fully Noded has to offer.

I really love the nodeless functionality Ive been adding to @FullyNoded. Have always wanted to build a wallet with this type of UI.

Best part is it’s incredibly simple and private by default.

Pretty much every other wallet out there uses someone else’s computer over the clearnet which shows your location, exactly which UTXOs you own and exactly when you use your wallet to strangers on the internet. A honey pot of data that should not be shared with strangers.

Fully Noded v2.2.0 is live!

This is a major update that brings #Taproot single-sig and multi-sig #miniscript functionality!

Taproot multi-sig in FN utilizes script trees with a dummy internal key nobody can sign for, it acts as a true multi-sig wallet where m of n keys are required to sign.

Receiving is indistinguishable from a single sig wallet, spending will reveal that you are using multi-sig.

Get it here:

Just uploaded Fully Noded v2.2.0, bringing miniscript support for multi_a, Bitcoin Core support for sortedmulti_a descriptor wallets and BIP86 single sig taproot support 🔥

Well yea I use tap to pay all the time, i mean for btc. Who offers a tap to pay terminal for btc?

What can i test with? Never even seen a tap to pay device unless its iphone to iphone and there is no standard to follow?

Fully Noded Server v0.2.1 has been released!

Get it via the website at fullynoded.app

Or via github at https://github.com/Fonta1n3/FullyNoded-Server/releases/tag/0.2.1-beta

Once i finish Taproot in Fully Noded I’m definitely adding a Nostr relay to Fully Noded Server to make connecting to your node great again over nostr.

Perhaps I’ll even host one for the public and build a light version of Fully Noded that doesn’t require a Full Node 😵 using BDK.

What he’s saying is that op returns will be more convenient for spammers and said spam can be pruned, a pruned node is not a fully validating node. So hopefully the spammers or attackers will use prunable data. Thats wishful thinking imho.

If spam is the concern we need to fix the segwit discount.

I don’t think spam is the cause for the change in v30. I think this change was pushed bc people want bitcoin to do ethereum like things 🚩

Removing limits altogether seems like the incorrect thing to do regardless, especially if cores intention was to “unify the mempool”.

Fully Noded v2.1.0 updates its signing logic with Bitcoin Dev Kit.

Right behind it v2.2.0 will add full Taproot support.

Let’s not make it harder to run nodes. Let’s make it easier for low bandwidth, low income people to run nodes. v30 does the opposite.

Major UI update coming to the OG Fully Noded, long overdue.

Wow, Bitcoin Twitter is awful these days. Coming over here for a change.

About as boring as watching paint dry but I am going to start streaming more often. Currently my setup doesn’t have audio but it’s a start!

Dedicated Join Market native iOS client coming in hot 🔥 (WIP)

Can’t wait for my next project to go live, it’s a nostr powered PayJoin wallet/utility, not sure what to name it… Any ideas?

Hey it should be fixed in latest testflight build (7), let me know. Should only display last 100 paid invoices and last 100 confirmed payments. Using sql, thanks for the hint.

for testing I’ve been using ngrok, useful if you don’t have a public IP, VPN would work too:

ngrok tcp 9735

Then input that IP and port along with your node ID and rune.

Not currently. LNSocket encrypts all

network traffic to your node though. Tor is on the list.

I built a thing! Introducing "Plasma - Core Lightning Wallet" for iOS only. Public testflight is live, please give it a go and provide feedback. It works with Core Lightning v23.08.1 and LNSocket (by nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s) exclusivley:

Primal is slick, too bad literally nothing works except viewing notes… It’s been weeks and it’s unusable on iOS. Is it just me?

Without death there is no life.

Couldn’t we have a simple plugin that allowed you to control your Bitcoin Core node via your CLN node/LNSocket too? That’d be pretty dope.

Busy working on a dedicated Core Lightning spin off of nostr:npub1yu0cv032ffd32ek69wufk798m9s2d7gygntrxger3vy40v44l9jssfg2wv

It utilizes LNSocket for controlling your node thanks to nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s

This means you no longer need Tor or an HTTP server and it’s fast!

About 90% done before a Testflight release.

And yea there’s plenty of ways to transfer the psbt without being an internet connected device.
