Recording and re-recording sound.

Like a large highway overpass falling on you instantly. Immediate death.

What is the general procedure for choosing a kind number for my app’s nip-33 replaceable events? Just pick a number in the range that appeals to me? #nostrdev #nostr

I’m going to take a stab at parsing some #nostr event content. Is there a #nip or list of things I need to parse somewhere? #NostrDev

Mostly wondering about the indentation shading that turns red. Seems like a good way to see where you’re at.

Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. When there are more #NDKsvelte components, will you make one that uses the components to make a simple client?

nostr:npub1zuuajd7u3sx8xu92yav9jwxpr839cs0kc3q6t56vd5u9q033xmhsk6c2uc what theme/setup do you have in VS Code? I’m going through your #NDK videos again. 😂

YUP!

I think #highlighter would fit well with Brian Roemmele’s idea of curating information to feed a personal private AI.

Space 🦀 for sure.

Lizards have been crazy here too this year. 🦎 are rising up.

Anyone tried to use GPT to write for content parsing/formatting of #Nostr note content? #Nostrdevs #NDK

Seems like highlighter from nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft is better than comments on a blog, better than wiki and better than whatever Twitter’s community notes are attempting.

📣 Announcing SimpleX Server (https://simplex.chat/) for StartOS, now available on the Start9 Registry 📣

Brought to you by #[0] 👏

TLDR: SimpleX might be the most promising solution to simple, private, decentralized messaging yet!

So far, it does direct messages, group messages, calls, voice messages, and video calls, and everything is e2e-encrypted and can be self-hosted.

Like Nostr, SimpleX is neither P2P nor federated. It uses servers to relay messages. You define which server to use for receiving messages, and your contacts define which server to use for receiving messages. Every conversation is likely to use 2 different servers!

Servers are simple relays adhering to the SMP protocol; they do not store profiles, contacts, or groups, and they only retain messages until they are delivered to clients. Read about the SMP protocol here: https://github.com/simplex-chat/simplexmq/blob/stable/protocol/simplex-messaging.md

SimpleX was designed with Tor servers in mind, and since servers do not connect to each other, there are no issues with interoperability: https://simplex.chat/docs/guide/privacy-security.html#using-tor
