People care more about marketing and slogans, rather than results.
Here's Gary Allen writing in 1987 about Reagan:
"The Establishment let the public have Ronald Reagan and then surround him with advisors who let Ronnie keep everyone enthused with magnificent speeches while little was actually accomplished. Federal spending continued to mushroom, deficits exploded…But all the while, the rhetoric led the public to believe that just the opposite was happening.”
Trump's 1st administration fits the above description.
It would be a real shame if his 2nd administration ends up fitting it too.
I really hope it doesn't.
It's true.
The burglar always has an excuse:
"You don't understand, I have to steal because [XYZ]."
"Let me steal just one more time, and then I'll change my ways."
"You'll see, just one more time."
If you're going to cut, it has to be like DOGE.
Do it now.
Otherwise, it won't happen.
Politicians will always have a shiny new object to keep pushing it forward:
"We can't cut now ... can't you see we're in the middle of of blah...blah..blah?"
This is what real toughness looks like.
Doing the right thing when everyone wants to do wrong.
As long as there have been libertarians, the cry has always been the same — shrink the state.
The longer you wait, the harder it will be for the people to accept.
The hatred against Elon proves this point.
The people are addicted to the state that enslaves them.
The foreign flag?
That’s a bigger problem than changing clocks.
The great Thomas Massie revealed that everyone in the House has an AIPAC-guy…except himself of course.
War “influencers” want everyone to think that it’s a Qatari-guy instead.
I highly doubt Massie was hiding this from us.
Israel & America had a role in Al Qaeda ruling Syria.
That can't be ignored.
The left does the same.
NATO had a big role in Russia invading Ukraine.
They ignore it.
This is not a bad idea, but corruption doesn't reside in politicians alone.
Citizens WANT politicians to act like criminals:
- Steal my neighbor's money for me.
- Take away my neighbor's rights.
- Send my neighbor to die for a foreign nation.
- Mandate my neighbor to wear masks and take jabs that don't work.
- (the list of crimes is endless)
So you can't want your politician to be a criminal FOR YOU and not be corrupt FOR HIMSELF.
Today, there really isn’t an anti-war Left or Right.
Whatever the Party leaders want, their “social media influencers” will energetically push.
The average person then has to choose whether to go with the Party and “influencers,” or be different and get called some stupid name.
Most don’t want to be called the name.
This works on both sides.
Republicans may be against the Ukraine war, but give them an opportunity to cheerlead a war for Israel and they’ll trip over their pom-poms to do it.
U.S. troops do not belong in Germany or Eastern Europe.
This is basic stuff.
America is across the ocean on the other side.
Bring them all home.
Trump is actually threatening more sanctions on Russia?
If it doesn't work...keep doing it?
Like the covid boosters?
Just walk away from this failed war Mr. President.
This is foolish.
Dear Poland,
Modern Russia is not the Soviet Union.
Since you lived under the tyranny of the Soviets, you should be able to spot the difference.
The Soviet Union was an international government.
By all indications (up to today), Putin's Russia is concerned with protecting the Russian economy, society and culture.
The Soviets destroyed Russia's society, economy and culture...and then took their freak show on the road.
Ironically, dear Poland, you are today a part of the EU, which is a tyrannical international government.
Poland, you have a history of being screwed by those who claim to be your friends.
Learn something, will you?

True.
Tariffs (may) lead to higher prices, but that's not inflation.
Hurricanes may lead to higher prices, but that's not inflation.
Inflation comes from the Fed's printing press and the depreciation of the money.
When they said "the U.S." will take the Panama Canal, it turned out to be BlackRock.
When they say "the U.S." will get Ukraine's minerals, it will turn out to be ... ?
All the while the American people are led to believe they're winning a prize....that cost them $300 billion.
Let's see...
What two words can be used to hide the important stuff from the public?
Ah yes, "national security."
Works every time.
Americans are whipped into a jingoistic fervor.
"We're gonna take .... blah ... blah ... blah."
You're not taking anything.
BlackRock is going to take it.
Putin is going to conquer Europe.
Oh wait...
Eisenhower was the first NATO supreme commander.
He wrote in 1951:
“If in 10 years, all American troops stationed in Europe for national defense purposes have not been returned to the United States, then this whole project [NATO] will have failed.”
The NATO zombie is still here 74 years later.
Thank you Zelensky ... for helping to expedite what should have been done a long time ago.
