"I started a project called Monero Masters. Not that I'm a Monero master, but more so that I came to the realization that either you own your money or your money owns you. So you're either a fiat slave or you're a Monero master. So the hope is to try to help people understand these differences and to really take control of money once again."

That is very much a beast of a machine. Hard to believe that the Ryzen 9 5950X is already over four years old.
Most of the hardware that I use personally is much older, but I am building a Ryzen AM5 system for a customer this next week. I suspect I'll also be replacing quite a few Intel 13th and 14th Gen motherboards and CPUs with Ryzen due to failures we are seeing on the Intel side.
Just picked up some more Dell hardware. Five Optiplex desktop computers, two with Intel 7th Gen i5 and three with 8th Gen Intel i5. Also got a PowerEdge T130 with Xeon processor.
I will refurbish and resell the Optiplex machines.
Not sure yet what I'll do with the PowerEdge.

One way to look it is that some forms statism takes are worse than others. A statism without an income tax would be "less worse", so while still not ideal, I would welcome the abolition of income tax.
I'm not sure if people are crazy to be paying this much for this kind of service... or if I am not charging enough for my work on PCs (Windows and Linux). Possibly just the Apple tax, as I have stopped working on Apple devices for the last five years or so, for the most part.
Cleanup service for $149.95 per device!

I'm just disappointed time after time with Mozilla.
I've been using Firefox since it was called "Firebird". Each broken promise and failed project is yet another let down.
I'm probably about ready to give up on them entirely.

Depends on what you are trying to learn. There's a whole lot of good instruction available for free.
I do think that the courses from Pikuma are worth it. Gustavo is a good instructor.
I'm looking into the issue with Intel 13th and 14th gen processors.
Will be replacing two for my customers with AMD Ryzen motherboard and CPU.
One system just immediately crashes on Windows or even the Windows installer. I replaced the storage, tried installing again and it crashed.
However, when live booting to Linux, it seems to run fine with no crashes. I even ran a CPU intensive task over night and it is still running fine.
We know there are serious issues with these Intel 13th and 14th gen chips, but why do you think it seems to run fine for me for simulated workloads in a Linux live environment?
Do you think I'd see the same crashing problems if I installed Linux to a disk? If so, wouldn't that point to some kind of storage controller issue instead of a CPU issue?
CPU in this instance is an Intel i7-13700KF, so we know it is one of the Intel chips affected by the "Intel Crisis".

Glad to hear you are embracing Linux again!
Hello Nostr! I'm the dev behind OpenMonero.com
This is my first post. I'm here to bring transparency and harm reduction. Check out my latest audit for haveno: Shady arbiters can steal the entire liquidity from the order book. All you need is just 2 bots. Its crazy.

Issue confirmed by official monero moderator on dread: http://dreadytofatroptsdj6io7l3xptbet6onoyno2yv7jicoxknyazubrad.onion/post/4e7e530582ff902b6903/#c-cac5570453f7fa9f42
Quote from /u/monero_desk_support: After some thoughts, I think you are right and that the arbitration system in Haveno doesn't prevent arbitrators from pulling the funds. They would need to create a bot that takes all the offers and automatically unlock the funds with the key of the taker and arbitrator

Welcome. Good to have you here!
Oh, completely agreed. Seems to be very much a "fair weather friend" of Liberty.

I am not a fan of Amazon or Bezos, but I'm pleased to hear the "Personal Liberties" and "Free Markets" direction they at least say they are headed in.
Wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues with keyboards and ThinkPad laptops.
This only happens in Windows, so probably is a Windows bug or purposeful defect. It does not happen in Linux.
The keyboard will not work at all, but if the laptop is restarted the keyboard will work fine until the next time it is powered on.
Happens with both Windows 10 and Windows 11. Mostly on ThinkPad models with Intel 6th and 7th generation processors: ThinkPad T560, T470s, et cetera.
Anyone know what causes this? Or what a fix would be?
I've seen it on at least 10 different laptops now. I have done some research but not found anything conclusive.

Possibly, but the CMOS battery is only supposed to be used when the system is powered off so that the BIOS retains its settings. It is not supposed to be used otherwise, if I understand correctly.
Perhaps that is a design flaw in Dell computers and it is being used some while one, or more than other brands, and thus causing CMOS batteries in Dell computers to fail more quickly.
It'd be fun to talk to a Dell engineer sometime.
I am replacing the CR2032 coin battery on a Dell Optiplex. At this point, I've just come to accept that it is best to replace all CMOS batteries on Dell computers. For some reason, they seem to die much quicker in Dell computers than other brands.
#Dell
Yes, that's what I'm thinking.
The only hesitation I have is that I've seen Dell computers that lose power completely switch back to the default BIOS setting, which will make the Windows OS unbootable (I am not sure how Linux would handle it).
I think that's a risk I am willing to take, as I can fix it if needed or tell people what to change in the BIOS if I can't physically get to it.
