All politicians are bad, but this one is a real son of a bitch...
U.S. stocks surge today an average of 4%, with the Dow currently up 800 points but still down 3,000 points in the last month, as the market attempt to correct 3 days of heavy losses spurred by last week’s wave of tariffs announced by U.S. President Donald J. Trump. Market uncertainty remain extremely high, with reports of trade negotiations by the Trump Administration expected to control the market over the coming weeks, determining daily rises and falls.

Brazil’s President Lula:
“I’m watching Trump’s behavior in the U.S., and I don’t think it’s going to work out.”

U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer is now testifying before the Senate Finance Committee on U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s reciprocal tariffs and other trade policies.

Khaama Press is reporting that that Zabihullah Mujahid, the Spokesman for the Taliban Government, has denied the arrival of U.S. Air Force C-17s at Bagram Air Base in eastern Afghanistan, calling the reports “propaganda” aimed at misleading the public. Hezbollah is now smuggling weapons by sea, with Iran’s Quds Force creating a faster route that bypasses Syria and uses direct maritime transfers to Lebanon. Hezbollah’s control of the Beirut seaport has reportedly made the smuggling process easier.

In a 5-4 vote, the U.S. Supreme Court tonight ruled in favor of the Trump Administration’s use of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to deport illegal migrants believed to be members of the Venezuelan gang known as “Tren de Aragua” to El Salvador, however adding that deportees must be given a chance to challenge their removal in a U.S. Federal Court. All conservative justices ruled in favor, besides Justice Amy Coney Barrett who joined the three liberal justices in dissenting with the majority ruling led by Chief Justice John Roberts.
While the ruling is a clear win for the Trump Administration, with President Trump stating in a post on Truth Social, “The Supreme Court has upheld the Rule of Law in our Nation by allowing a President, whoever that may be, to be able to secure our Borders, and protect our families and our Country, itself. A GREAT DAY FOR JUSTICE IN AMERICA!” Other groups like the ACLU are also claiming victory, with federal immigration officials now being forced to prove a deportee is part of a group that is “conducting warfare against the United States” before they can be deported to another country like El Salvador. The initial deportation of over 100 migrants to El Salvador in February and March received heavy criticism from some, after immigration officials admitted that many of those deported did not have criminal records at the time of their deportation and also were not allowed a court appearance before being removed from the United States.
