I’m finding myself checking Twitter, BlueSky, and Threads a lot less. They are boring me. Though Twitter seems to have the most useful information (for my interests) still. I’m settling in with Micro.Blog using Activity pub to interact with Mastodon Accounts.

Been playing casters in #WoW since I started again. Mainly Arcane Mage and Warlock. I don’t feel super attached to them. Since I’m a nature buff and enjoy the outdoors, I am going to try similar WoW classes, mainly Hunter, Druid, and Shamans.

Can someone explain to me why the actors are going to strike? Don’t they get paid well enough? I don’t see doctors going on strike.

I will accept maybe it’s for the extra’s and those doing mattress commercials, but the Tom Cruises of the world are not want for anything?

Since Threads came out I’m seeing my BluSky traffic tank. I think Threads will be the new alt-twitter and Mastodon will continue to be the indie social choice…especially if Threads federated and they can interop.

I did it, installed #WorldOfWarcraft again. I just can’t resist, and television has been fairly boring as of late.

I have been so tempted to reinstall WoW since yesterday. It’s very hard to resist.

Squirrel!!!!

After not having a dog for over a decade I had forgotten that they look at everything you pick up as some sort off food your refusing to share.

We now have welcomed Hazel to the family.

Getting our first family dog today. I’m actually more worried about the children’s behavior than the dogs. She is a 1yr old from the shelter so it’s going to be a long day of introductions.

Supposedly a lot of things I been complaining about on Threads are in the works.

I get confused when people proclaim down with big tech when on a big tech platform. Should they not be on Mastodon or some other indie platform then?

I find it humorous that Threads is less than 24hrs old and people are saying things like “threads is the best platform for new writers”. Like we have a clue how this thing is going to turn out in the weeks to come.

I toy with the idea of switching to a Mac and it probably would be a good move, but the Framework 16 calls my name.

I find it amazing that the things that keeps me on the iPhone are Facetime and Messages. They are their two most valuable apps.

So my two month long World of Warcraft binge has ended. I wasted to much time, so easy to get sucked in for hours. I have relegated myself back to only playing Minecraft with my kids.

I’m thinking of switching from Apple Music to Amazon Music. Mainly because Amazon is the only service that has Garth Brooks.
