Andreas Antonopolous gave a GREAT talk about this subject when talking about using financial freedom to do more good than harm due to the assymetry of evil. He gave that talk in Zurich.

He basically said that in the 1920s, when the restriction of free speech was being debated that a judge basically said "the answer to bad speech is MORE free speech" (paraphrased).

That is due to the "assymetry of evil" : there are more people in the world wanting to do good with speech than do evil and hence they will flood the bad speech actors with their good free speech.

I hope we haven't forgotten that. In the 1920s they managed to stave off the attack on free speech. It would be sad that in the 2020s it were successful...

So today on twatter yellow made a meme pointing out something yellow found funny about de Shinobi episode and then a bunch of sandwiches people attacked yellow calling him a triggered puppet when in reality I kinda agreed with their points but just wanted to point out the way it was delivered. After dat Ordinals people attacked yellow calling him a triggered puppet because they thought yellow was just wat his avi shows: laser eyes, even if yellow is against filters. After laser people started calling Shinobi names when the meme wasn't about that. If so many angry peoplez call yellow triggered I guess yellow must be huh. Everyone lately is in camps it seems. Meanwhile, being a contrarian Bitcoiner is so hot right now. If enough of the contrarian Bitcoiners get together that makes them conformists though, so being a contrarian then means align with the old conformist values? Wait wat. Anyway I guess the contrast for them is saying one thing and doing the exact opposite, so it was from the start weird to yellow. In the end, a Bitcoiner told yellow that he noh equiped to have opinions on such technical matters and shouldn't meme it either. He should educate himself first and ask questions later. The USA has been overly generous to all of our ally’s in the name of democracy and freedom. This generosity has lead our ally’s down a path of dependency. Like the wild animal being fed by the generous farmer, they have forgotten that their survival demands independence. The animal forgets how to forage or hunt, and when the farmer moves away or no longer provides, the animal soon dies of starvation, unless they can remember their true instincts.

The USA cannot sustain all of our ally’s in all of the worlds’ conflicts indefinitely and simultaneously, it is impossible. Our ally’s must stand on their own two feet. Countries like Ukraine ought to have invested heavily into fortified defenses, trenches, bunkers, and other means of defense from the east. Unfortunately their corrupt governments and greedy interests have sold the lie that it was unnecessary to do so because big brother USA would protect them.

You reap what you sow, and USA try as we may to protect the world, cannot do so unilaterally, and therefore all will be lost if others do not stand up for themselves.

It is a warning to all nations that peace is not a guarantee, and defense ought to be a priority.
