How much truth do you know? If you were to write down all of the things that you know and understand, how many pages would it take until your wisdom ran dry?
Prayers and support for this great work by LT on #AndWeKnow !!
Sad how many of today's churches this is. No longer a humble gathering of believers seeking God's wisdom and grace, but a social club of invented moral superiority, entitled acceptance, and polished entertainment. π

Reminder not to let fear grip us into forgetting the BIG picture β€οΈ

Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. Cease from anger and forsake wrath; Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers will be cut off, But those who wait for the Lord, they will inherit the land. Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more; And you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there. But the humble will inherit the land And will delight themselves in abundant prosperity.
π Psalms 37:7-11

HE is risen indeed β€οΈ
HE is why there is hope at all.
Thank you Lord, for your amazing mercy.

For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
π Romans 8:6
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
π Colossians 3:2
Whatever we allow to occupy our minds, that's the direction we're going. Our enemy knows this far better than we do, knows us better that we know ourselves, and will happily provide distractions we're attracted to. The more we think about it, the more we'll want it. Think about it long enough, and we'll have given it over to our own emotion and desire. Good luck fighting that battle.
Our minds are where the battle is won, and you "are what you eat."

Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops.
π Luke 12:2-3

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
π John 14:27
Merry Christmas everyone! β€οΈ
π― Well said. Could say the same for celebrities.
In an atmosphere of outrage and seeking justice, it is dangerously easy to forget that our ultimate struggle is not against people:
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation. Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.
Romans 12:14-18
#Jesus
If one takes a bit of time to read how Jesus actually conducted Himself (not another's interpretation) in the gospels, it would show Willy is correct. We're here to share good news, not bash others over the head if they disagree, and CERTAINLY not to force anyone into belief (which is fake belief anyway). People can decide for themselves and they absolutely will. But we are here to promote peace (according to Jesus, NOT the insitutionalized "god-lobby"). If we're murdering anyone, the instruction didn't come from God. Don't forget "they" also burned at the stake several Christian dissenters of catholicism for disagreeing with a man (the pope). It's always about earthly power.
Read also about the "pharisees" and compare to today's religious finger-pointing.
Blessings to you, wherever you're at.
And who decided they were witches and should be killed? That's right - people. Far from the first who killed "in the name of god" (or at least god as THEY saw him)
Religions based on man's ideas and paranoia are everywhere. Can't blame God for our actions.
I have no goodness. I have His forgiveness.
