I wondered if you had any insights on making the amount of money that you’ve made, how to keep a level head, and what you’ve found matters most to you in life now that you’re free from excessive toil?
I would also love some advice as someone pursuing my own tech company, an engineer who’s been coding for years. Is there something that you just “get”? Is the secret to stay in the creative process and hold to a vision?

I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s as popular as it is for a reason for web development, though. If I were to reach for a general language it would be goLang for most things.
Just the hate toward it reeks of “oh you use a Mac? I use Arch, actually”. Just stupid. It has its uses and it’s good for them.

You are not deserting the poor in their misery when you refuse to allow your mind to be filled with pictures of that misery.
Poverty can be done away with, not by increasing the number of well-to-do people who think about poverty, but by increasing the number of poor people who purpose with faith to get rich.
The poor do not need charity; they need inspiration. Charity only sends them a loaf of bread to keep them alive in their wretchedness, or gives them an entertainment to make them forget for an hour or two; but inspiration will cause them to rise out of their misery. If you want to help the poor, demonstrate to them that they can become rich, prove it by getting rich yourself.
