The Bitcoin Standard is so often recommended as something you should use to explain Bitcoin to a loved one or friend that’s interested. I love Bitcoin but it’s probably the worst way I can imagine to Orange Pill someone. Way too many opinions that have nothing to do with Bitcoin.

I will say stock-to-flow was a great way to explain Bitcoin’s uniqueness but the rest of the book will turn a lot of people off.
I think it can only work if someone is already predisposed to orange pilling. Agree that he does himself a disservice by bringing in irrelevant topics that are sure to turn some people off (even if he is right about some).
