Perhaps I’ll just take a walk through my patch and kill all the little suckers.

Update.
Not all my garlic is infected.
Last year all my garlic had the larvae.
I found this little bug near by.
I think my eco system is healing itself so I’m going to not treat the larvae and see what happens.
Last year I did nothing and was able to harvest and replant to double my yield for this year.

Nailer jammed today.
My own repairs save me sats.
Production in full effect.
Do you see direct? I do a combination of sew and transplant to kick off the year.
I find if i sew early with peas and onions and such I can get a head start on my short season.
My framing nailer jammed.
I got two options.
Get it fixed. 100$ bill.
Learn to troubleshoot this myself. Free.
Took out the tools and did a tear down.
Jam is fixed and took the opportunity to blow out all the parts for a nice clean up.
Works like new.
Save sats my frens.
Do not be afraid to fuckup.
Do everything possible yourself.
Skill building is exponentially valuable.

Moderate. But i water lots in the early spring too
Works for other things. Ive always been told dawn is better as it breaks down easier 🤷🏼
You got me curious and they are back.
Almost over night.
Definitely looks like larvae

Reposted. Hope we figure out what it is.
If I recall it happened for about a week. And after the scapes no more damage appeared.
Perhaps a seasonal bug or larvae
I had them last year. I did not diagnose them because I had a busy summer last year I let them be and my garlic turned out fine and was able to replant that garlic this year. Everything is fine this year.
If I recall that happened just before the scapes started to shoot up.
I am curious as to what it is.

I wrote a few good ones in my past I cant recall.
You inspired me to try a Haiku again.
It’s titled; With Work In-Between
Coffee and a joint to start.
Im fully greased.
The afternoon sun brings me joy.
Just ending where I’m at.
Nah, just a heavy handed shovel. They are resilient and easy to transplant.

I don’t have any lilacs at my land.
Now I will.
10 bags packed with lilac rootings and a red maple to boot.
I had a bare spot to fill in for privacy.
I thought. White Cedars would be nice. But over100$ a pop. Nah
Stack more sats and do everything with nothing. I dug these up in my yard.
Lilacs grow fast and are easy to maintain shape with hedgers.
Not to mention beautiful and smell lovely. As well as being edible, can also be used for extracts or salves.

I Introduce you to Roger Rabbit.
He’s a one eyed creature that I saved from the landfill site over a decade ago.
He moves around the yard from time to time. I’m sure he appreciates the scenery change.
Im not very sentimental. However it brings me joy to know someone build him for their child. And somehow a piece of that era lives on.
PS. I named him Roger after the crane operator I accompanied to the landfill site after a large tree job we finished that required a flatbed with a picker.
I found this rabbit. And named him Roger.
Coincidence?

You could use a strip down and re-season. Steel wool, dawn soap and elbow grease. Don’t worry about the folks who are scared of soap.
