I tend to disagree. I look at it as an incentive on the current protocol for small miners to ditch big pools for increased transparency and counted work. Of course it’s not an automatic “decentralization,” but it’s giving opportunity to disrupt current pool dominance. This is, imo, a great way of doing that pre Stratum V2.
