The climate hysterics seem to ignore a small fact or two about glacial melt:
"But all that melting ice and snow does not directly boost sea levels any more than melted ice cubes make a glass of water overflow, which gives rise to an awkward question: who cares?"
The tragic reality is that this is what sticks in the head of normies: "bitcoin is unethical due to power consumption" used to be the mantra, now it's accompanied by "bitcoin is unethical because it uses all the fresh water."
Please don't underestimate the power of a narrative that tells a moral story...!
