Creepin about with Teddy Bears Picnic playing

Defaults should remain as they are. If users want to permit the relay of additional spam, let them deviate from the default.

Most users won't change the defaults and Core devs know this, hence, if they leave the config options in place but blow out the defaults, they'll still get their own way, which is to open the network up to additional spam and non monetary use cases.

LMFAO

'Who's going to tell him.....'

I was able to access / read, but not write / publish. Very interested to hear how you get on.

If it worked, it would be a very easy out-of-the-box solution for the average Joe to use nostr privately & efficiently.

Anyone use IVPN? They were thinking about joining Nostr. https://www.ivpn.net

I have a free 3 month voucher that they gave me, but I'd rather give it away to my Nostriches.

Post your best meme and I'll pick a winner after I get get home later this evening.

Do they accept btc for payment?

Bang on. Applies to many other exchanges, as well. So long as they can get away with doing this, they will, as they are incentivised to do so.

Withdrawing via LN to something like Aqua wallet, or Boltz, is often a good way to side step egregious withdrawal fees.

The scientific literature is expanding, every day, with more evidence that Earths geomagnetic field is weakening, at an ever accelerating rate.

This behaviour is characteristic of pole shift.

As Earths geomagnetic shield weakens, our planet becomes increasingly vulnerable to the effects of incoming solar radiation.

(Sunspots, solar flares, and coronal mass ejections are much more common at the peak of the sun’s 11 year solar cycle. We are presently at the peak of one of these cycles, right now. [Solar cycle 25]).

A strong solar flare, and accompanying CME, in conjunction with the weakening of Earths defences, has a very reasonable chance of decimating our global power infrastructure, here on Earth.

When burned up by such an event, and rendered useless, replacement transformers would likely take in the order of years, to produce and distribute.

This, in turn, would leave large parts of the Earth without electricity, and in total darkness.

With all of this in mind, I wonder, why are prominent Bitcoiners and Bitcoin miners not acknowledging and or discussing this issue ?

Are they simply unaware of it? Or is it the mother of all psyops, to encourage the plebs to go all in on an electricity backed currency, at a time when Earths grid infrastructure has not been as vulnerable to collapse?

If what I’m saying seems outlandish, please revisit the Carrington Event, of 1859.

Please also see the work & thesis of Ben Davidson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0Gz7w3l_uE

Both NASA and the European space agency have quietly acknowledged the rapid increase in the reduction of Earths geomagnetic field. (Estimates range from a 15% to 20-25% reduction, over the course of the last few decades.)

While both of these institutions may have a checkered record, in terms of their trustworthiness, the bulk of the Scientific record seems to bare out similar conclusions…

To that end, and to the extent we care about digital scarcity, proof-of-work, and immutability, isn’t it time to ramp up the discussion around hardening our electrical grid?

I have considered this modality for some time, however having spent many years coming to understand what it takes to rebuild the adrenal glands, when I hear someone tell me that 'they feel good' ... 'as long as they jog X miles every day', or 'as long as they sit in an ice bath every day', it raises red flags.

If one requires going to such extreme measures, in order to feel good, that is a reliable indicator of adrenal insufficiency.

Our ancestors were able to have very robust mental & physical health, without the need to go jogging every day, or sit in ice baths, etc.

There are many forms of cold water therapy, a number of which don't involve shocking or overstimulating the adrenals (which at this time, tend to be weak, in most people).

For now, these are the forms of cold water therapy that I will practise / reccommend to others.

I would be concerned about the stress cold plunges would place on the adrenal glands...

Granted, you will likely feel good, in the short term, as the glands are stimulated into action (via the shock), however over the long term, it's possible that you could end up in a situation of adrenal fatigue.

A case of robbing Peter to pay Paul, if you will...
