those worried about "nostr CEOs" getting arrested and using that as an excuse to not use nostr aren't being true to themselves or have a grave misunderstanding of free and open source software.
as long as client and relay software is hosted somewhere on the Internet, you can download the software and run it.
additionally, you can't effectively block all of nostr either. nostr operates over port 443 or TOR. 443 is the same port that *all* websites use for secure communication.
it's that simple.
Anybody having success using Primal.net + the Tor Browser?

I haven't used Primal and TOR but I will test later.
I was able to access / read, but not write / publish. Very interested to hear how you get on.
If it worked, it would be a very easy out-of-the-box solution for the average Joe to use nostr privately & efficiently.
