This technology sucks
Super-excited to see what vax gets pushed on us when this jumps to humans for the next plandemic.
Watching NCAA men's hockey tournament - Michigan vs Michigan State. Some of the worst (inconsistent) officiating I've ever seen. I don't care about either team but Michigan State got consistently screwed by the officials.
The left currently prefers the word "insurrectionists". Before the woke regime took over academia we were taught words like "patriots" and "founding fathers" for people that rose up against a government that was no longer representing them.
Every time I check out a podcast that talks about the debt-laden disaster that is the US government I can't help but think of this scene from Dumb and Dumber.
It looks like the front of the stove is watching him in shock. π―
Kinda makes me wonder if soon we'll have droves of people flooding into the country from the northern border as well...
Kinda strange how Tesla owners are so caught up in the cult of personality of the company CEO. No one pays attention to or gives a shit about the CEOs of Ford, GM, Toyota, Honda, Subaru, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, etc. But Tesla owners have a weird hang-up with Elon and what he says, does, where he eats, when and where he shits, etc. OK, I exaggerated a bit there (maybe not) but you get the point. It's a car not your life partner.
The Lizard King!
Oh, and of course a straightforward file server so I don't need to use any Google cloud platform.
I'm only a few weeks into this latest "hobby" but have set up a home security system/NVR, note-taking app and server, firewall (dedicated machine), VPN, Syncthing to sync/backup my GrapheneOS phone, Invidious server (to further de-Google my life), media server, yada yada yada. I have a Synology NAS also but like TrueNAS Scale more than Synology and I like the apps TrueNAS has and what TrueCharts has; if I can't find what I'm looking for there then I try setting up my own VM on a ProxMox server (like I had problems with Pi-hole on TrueNAS so I set it up on an Ubuntu instance on the ProxMox). Lots of good things to play with out there, not all are a fit for me or what I'm looking for right now tho. I tried Home Assistant and really didn't see a use in my life so deleted it.
So you caused the green candles. Thanks!
This has been my thing lately. Tinkering with TrueNAS Scale, ProxMox and other platforms that allow for sovereign computing using FOSS. Hoping people post some good ideas here. π
