Was explaining Nostr to some friends (and some people I hate) on a zoom call we do every week to stay in touch and one guy kept interrupting me asking me what chain it was on and I kept explaining it’s not on a chain and he was asking about what the token ticker is and shit and I finally just lost it on him lmao. I had to explain to him, and this was apparently the first time he learned of this, that decentralization does not equal a blockchain. My god crypto bros are awful.
